Wow ....Where have you been ???
ReplyDeleteMost of Cameron County officials have never served the United Stetes. Its time we have a veteran making decisions important to the community.
ReplyDeleteThere are many ways to serve the United States. Although, the service of people in the Military is very much needed and appreciated,it doesn't mean that Veterans deserve some special treatment or consideration. It doesn't mean that they are somehow more qualified than any other citizen. Discipline and responsibility are not ONLY found in the Military.
ReplyDeleteHay Jack Ass Veterans do deserve some special treatment or consideration, if not your freedom to post your BS on the internet might not be happening.
ReplyDeleteI AGREE WITH ANONY!!!!

FREEDOM IS NOT FREE!!!!!!
Word is that this lady is a bit like Cata Presas-Garcia. If there is any bit of truth to this, then she will not make a good DA. We just have to be careful on who we elect to DA.
ReplyDelete"Word is"? You sound like a cool cat, but what you did above is just character assassination with no relevance in fact or experience. It would be just like saying: Word is you're a lot like Benedict Arnold.

Most (perhaps all) current Cameron County elected officials have no national service of any kind. They have grown up in Cameron County politics and corruption. They go away and then come back "home"...to serve themselves. This candidate, Urbina de Ford, has national service experience...in several national organizations.
ReplyDeleteWe need her experiences in this community....or just the same old, same old corruption by those who reflect the incestuous politics of the past.
I've met her and she is not impressive at all. I vote democrat, but I would have to support Chuck in November over her if she makes it out of the democratic primary.
ReplyDeleteshe doesnt have my vote. hope she loses
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed reading your article on the human nature behind the news in Brownsville, Texas. I especially appreciated the author's comment about the time it takes to get to know the area and people. I do agree with them that most of the folks in this county have never served the United States. I think it's time we have a veteran make a run for it.
