WILL CARLOS CASCOS BE THE NEXT STOP ON ALLISON'S ITINERARY?

Allison Bastain, likely overworked as the City of Brownsville's interim City Attorney after the abrupt firing of Mark Sossi, has been pictured in the company of two of the three candidates for Cameron County Judge in the last few days.

On New Year's Day, Robert Sanchez, AKA "Captain Bob," a Democratic candidate for country judge, shared a picture of Allison on his blog, cleverly named The Captain's Table.  Ms. Bastain is pictured above with Robert's off-again, on-again, off-again, on-again girlfriend, Amanda McDonald and another gentleman.

A few days later, Allison is pictured at a San Benito event for Beto O'Rourke, accompanied by the other Democratic candidate for county judge, Eddie Trevino.

Allison could be doing "opposition research" for either or both of the Democratic candidates or simply becoming a super-educated voter.

Carlos Cascos
In any event, this is a heads up to the Carlos Cascos campaign.  Don't be surprised if a petite, curly-haired blonde crashes your next campaign event.  Allison is in a county judge state of mind.

  1. We should all want to find someone to look at us the way Allison Bastain looks at Beto O’Rouke.

  5. I like that she is involved and not taking sides. If only more people could be like that. Political campaigns are grueling, not just for the candidate but for their families too. Nothing worse than when you go thorough weeks and months of campaigning, then no one shows up at your pachanga. I'm sure they were all grateful to see an interested and engaged individual take the time to attend. Working at the city, she has to be able to know and get along with everyone, no matter who wins.

  7. You know Ben Neeces is going to have her head on a platter for being friends with McDonalds and Sossi. I bet you a six pack of natural light that Ben Neeces fires her because her boss stole his girlfriend.

  8. I posted this on your fb page, too:

How funny! Actually, I didn’t know either candidate would be there. I simply went to these events because I wanted to... not very interesting, I’m afraid. But thanks for the write-up! Take care.
